PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-processing device that does not perform an inaccurate and useless stapling operation. SOLUTION: The stapling is performed at a sheet end vertical to the ejecting direction. Even when some sheets ejected after outputting an image have different size, the stapling is performed (step S7) if lengths vertical to the ejecting direction are the same (step S4 and S5), or the stapling is inhibited (step S8) if the lengths vertical to the ejecting direction are different from each other (step S5).
