PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder and an image forming device allowing change of an applied pressure of a nip part between a pair of resist rollers and easy change of specification of kinds of transfer paper. SOLUTION: In the paper feeder, the tip of transfer paper is butted on the nip part formed of the drive resist roller for transmitting a driving force from a driving source disposed at a fixed position to perform drive and rotation and the driven resist roller that is contacted by pressure with the drive resist roller and supported capable of being driven and rotated, and the transfer paper is conveyed at a timing of matching the tip of an image with the tip of the transfer paper. The drive resist roller has a bearing for supporting both shaft ends rotatably, a pressuring means for pressuring the nip part with an elastic member from the outer periphery of the bearing, and a pressurization changing means capable of changing pressurization of the pressuring means.
