PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve less burden on an operator, space saving and easy operation by multifunctioning a foot switch in coordination with a manual operation switch. SOLUTION: A gantry 11 is constructed to be tilted and a table 14 on which a subject 17 is laid at its examination bed 13 is constructed to be moved up and down and longitudinally moved to a tunnel portion 12 of the gantry 11 in IN/OUT directions. When the manual operation switch on an operation panel 15 is operated, the operation of tilting the gantry 11, moving the table 14 up and down and longitudinally moving the table 14 in the IN/OUT directions in response to the switch is started. Herein, the operation is continued by footing the foot switch 16 and controlled to be continued until the foot switch 16 is no longer footed even when the operation of the manual operation switch is stopped.
