PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management system for adjusting crawler belt tensile force. SOLUTION: This crawler belt tensile force system for a crawler belt assembly has an idler wheel, a drive wheel, a drive crawler belt wound around the drive wheel and the idler wheel, and a hydraulic motor capable of operating to let the drive wheel advance. A drive circuit can operate to supply pressurized fluid to the hydraulic motor. An actuator connected with the idler wheel has a running chamber and a reaction chamber, and the reaction chamber is pressurized to move the idler wheel in a first direction in which the idler wheel leaves the drive wheel to give tensile force to the crawler belt. A control feed mechanism communicating with the drive circuit and the running chamber of the actuator by fluid receives pressurized fluid supplied to the hydraulic motor from the drive circuit to feed out a fixed amount of fluid into the running chamber of the actuator to respond. The actuator can operate to receive the fixed amount of fluid and reduce tensile force of the crawler belt. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
