PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorating sheet used for a container or the like, a switch panel or the like and having good heat resistance, moisture resistance and gas barrier properties. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the decorating sheet having a decorating layer formed on a base sheet made of a biaxially stretched plastic sheet comprises the steps of supplying the decorating sheet between a pair of molds for molding, closing the molds, and applying a pressure of 1.5×10<SP>6</SP>to 5×10<SP>7</SP>Pa from one mold with a flowable medium, disposing the sheet along a cavity surface of the other mold and thereby deforming the sheet in a deep drawing shape.
