PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displaying device for a vehicle for displaying a virtual image not to prevent visibility of a foreground. SOLUTION: This displaying device comprises a superposed distance information storing means 21b for storing superposed distance information for indicating a distance to an obstacle existing before the vehicle recognized as the foreground of the vehicle from a vehicle that superposedly and visually recognizes, from an eyepoint, the obstacle and the virtual image of the image projected on a front glass. The displaying device also comprises a distance detecting means 40 for detecting the distance from the vehicle to the obstacle, a determining means 21a1 for determining whether the obstacle and the virtual image is superposedly and visually recognized based on the distance detected by the distance detecting means 40 and the superposed distance information stored by the superposed distance information storing means 21b, and a controlling means 21a2 for controlling stop of the projection to the front glass when the determining means 21a1 determines superposed and visual recognition.
