PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal fumigator that shows high stability, for the use, and has high optical transparency to light sources. SOLUTION: In the thermal fumigator, fumigation liquid in the liquid bottle 20 placed in the fumigator vessel 10 is suck up through the wick 22 in the liquid bottle and the wick 22 is heated with the heater 17 set in the vessel 10 whereby the fumigation liquid is vaporized. In this case, in order to inhibit the bottle 20 from being inclined, a plurality of projections, e.g. ribs 16 and the like are formed on the inner periphery 14 of the body into which the liquid bottle 20 is screwed in. In other embodiments, the fumigators may be equipped with projections, e.g. ribs 12 for preventing the bottle from being overscrewed, or with projections, ribs 18, 18H for preventing the fumigator vessel 10 being inclined.
