<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem on a conventional elevator lifting machine in which a sheave 6 is spaced from a brake disc 7 fixed to the end of the sheave 6 for preventing the splash of impregnated oil in a rope wound on the sheave 6 and, in turn, the lowering of braking performance, that a driving shaft is longer in the axial direction and so the driving shaft has to have a larger diameter, resulting in an increased contour and weight of the whole lifting machine. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator lifting machine comprises a first bearing stand 2a and a second bearing stand 2b fixed to a bed 1, a sheave 6 arranged between the first bearing stand 2a and the second bearing stand 2b and supported to be rotatable around a driving shaft 3, and a disc brake 7 fixed to a motor rotor 4 provided on the opposite side of the sheave 6 via the first bearing stand 2a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
