PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately stop the operation of a discharge means when the operation prohibiting condition for the discharge means is established and to enable a game control means to recognize the establishment of the operation prohibiting condition. SOLUTION: A CPU 56 mounted on a main board 31 transmits a discharge control command indicating the number of prize balls in response to the occurrence of prize-winning to a discharge control CPU 371 which is mounted on a discharge control board 37. The CPU 371 drives a ball discharge device 97 according to the discharge control command to control discharge of game balls and transmits a discharge control response indicating a discharge end to the CPU 56 when the discharge is completed. When fullness in a lower tray and shortage in balls to be replenished, etc., are detected, the CPU 371 prohibits the operation of the ball discharge device 97 and also transmits the discharge control response indicating a discharge prohibiting state to the CPU 56.
