IDENTIFICATION OF DISEASE-SENSITIVE GENE LOCUS AND GLUTAMIC ACID RECEPTOR GENE AS A SCHIZOPHRENIC DISEASE SENSITIVE GENE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of identifying the locus of disease-sensitive genes in which the loci of disease-sensitive genes are identified in the relation of a plurality of base polymorphism existing in genes caused by complicated pathogenesis in the case of, e.g. schizophrenia.

SOLUTION: In the identification of disease-sensitive gene loci, a plurality of single nucleotide polymorphisms are selected at a proper interval from the pathogenic gene-including area to calculate the degree of linkage disequilibrium between these selected single nucleotide polymorphism and to construct the haplotype by using the selected single nucleotide polymorphism whereby the loci of disease-sensitive gene is identified on the basis of the haplotype frequency.
