<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid lock mechanism for a compact equipped with a turning operation member which eliminates grating and the engagement of a hook into a main body of a case. <P>SOLUTION: In the compact provided with: the main body of the case; a lid body attached to the main body of the case to be freely opened/closed and equipped with lock piece at prescribed positions; and a lid lock mechanism mounted on the main body of the case, the lid lock mechanism is composed of; a lock wall surface equipped with the hook arranged on the main body of the case and a stopper projected under the hook; and the operation member mounted on the main body of the case to be freely turned, and equipped with a presser plate, a side plate and a bottom plate provided successively from the lower end of the presser plate, and the upper surface of the terminal edge of the bottom plate is to be used as a lock plane to be locked to the stopper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
