PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manipulating method for minute objects allowing effective catch, arrangement or the like of the minute objects of nano size by optical manipulation. SOLUTION: Light corresponding to an electron system energy level of the minute object is irradiated. The irradiated light is made resonant with the electron system energy level of the minute object to increase interaction between the light and the minute object and to increase a force exerted on the minute object.
