PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ladle which can be used in two ways by providing a means for opening/closing holes provided on a cup part and to provide a production method thereof. SOLUTION: The ladle is equipped with a plurality of soup discharge holes 6 bored on a cup part 1, an opening/closing plate 7 placed over these soup discharge holes 6 to freely open/close the holes by sliding back and forth, and an operating plate 9 provided successively to the opening/closing plate 7 to be used for opening/closing the holes by an operation in the middle of a handle.
