PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that sand and pebbles enter a connection hole and a hole for discharging mud provided in a shoe plate, thereby deforming a core metal unit and a crack occurs in rubber pad, thereby worsening the durability markedly in a conventional crawler. SOLUTION: In this crawler shoe having a lug part 13 in the direction of length on a stepping face side and attached to the shoe plate 2 having the hole 10 for discharging mud in substantially central part, the core metal unit 11 of the crawler shoe has a protruding recessed part 17 in the vicinity of the center. The protruding recessed part 17 is formed in such a way that it covers head parts of a plurality of locking devices (bolts) 8 for locking a link in the shoe plate 2 at the height higher than the height of the head parts of a plurality of locking devices 8 and is lower than a thickness of the rubber pad 12. The protruding recessed part 17 has the hole 15 for discharging mud through the hole 16 for discharging mud of the rubber pad 12 and center ribs 14 larger than a width and a height of the lug part 13 of the shoe plate 2, respectively.
