PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foot form evaluation method for establishing a normal standard when producing a sole/insole for footwear. SOLUTION: In the sole or insole for footwear, the dimension of a base sole and the form of a projection in contact with a metatarsus are determined by measuring an outer peripheral length passing a point A of a center of gravity of a toe, a crural side metatarsal point A' and a sural side metatarsal point A", an outer peripheral length passing a navicula bone rough surface B' of a foot and a fifth metatarsus rough surface B", a full length C, a full width D and a distance E from the point A of the center of gravity of the toe to a heel point F and the form and the height of the projection on the sole or insole are classified in details from the three points of cases of a normal foot, a pes valgus or a coxa vulgus and a pes varus or a coxa varus further from the presence of overlapping of a first phalanx and a second phalanx.
