PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an I.S. (individual section) forming machine which efficiently removes heat from blow-formed parison and a formed bottle. SOLUTION: This blow forming die assembly is composed of a blow forming die head 18 which is supported by a blow forming head arm 16 and has an inlet supplying final blow forming air into the inside of the parison, a moving means which lowers the blow forming head arm from a retreated position to the first 'operation' position adjacent to the upper surface of blow forming die, thereby, moves the blow forming head to the second 'operation' position by a selected vertical distance above the first 'operation' position of the blow forming die 12 and allows the final blow forming air to escape from the blow forming die between the blow forming head and the mouth part of the bottle and a means which supplies the final blow forming air to the blow forming head by the first pressure when a blow forming tube is on the first 'operation' position and by the second higher pressure when the blow forming tube is on the second 'operation' position.
