PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and rapidly make an elaborate figure, very similar to a person and an imaged Buddha desired by a customer, at a low cost. SOLUTION: The stereoscopy of a subject 10 is photographed by a non- contract three-dimensional digitizer 11, a stereo picture signal (shape information and color information) of the stereoscopy is obtained and recorded at a memory medium 117. A computer 12 repairs and processes the shape information and the color information, shown by the stereo picture signal, to output them. A three-dimensional processing device 13 carves a grinding face part 20 (stereoscopic model) based on shape information outputted from the computer 12. A three-dimensional printer 14 colors the grinding face part 20, outputted from the three-dimensional processing device 13, based on color information outputted from the computer 12. A finishing part 15 builds clothes, hairs, and a pedestal in a colored face part 30 outputted from the three-dimensional printer 14 to finish them into a finished model 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
