PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating an end of an interior finishing material for a vehicle in which the interior finishing material for the vehicle having a light weight and good appearance can be inexpensively provided by allowing a terminating treatment to be conducted in a short time without using an adhesive, a tacker or the like. SOLUTION: The method for treating the end of the interior finishing material for the vehicle comprises the steps of molding a folding thin part 10 at a part near an edge of a base layer 2 when a molding 9 for the interior finishing material laminated on a front surface of the base layer 2 of a skin material 1 made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin is integrally molded by using the mold, folding back the part 10 to a rear side while the skin material 1 remains laminated on the front surface after the molding is released from the mold, and fusion bonding to integrate the thin part 10 to a rear surface of the layer 2.
