COMPOSITE SEMIPERMEABLE MEMBRANE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite semipermeable membrane combining a high salt blocking property with high chlorine resistance, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The composite semipermeable membrane consists of a thin film containing a polyamide resin having an amide bond corresponding to a nitrogen atom bonded with a hydrogen atom in a recurring unit and a porous supporting membrane supporting the thin film and is characterized by having≤-16.00 eV (electron volt) of central energy of a C-N bond in CONCl bonding part when a low molecular weight model compound corresponding to the recurring unit whose hydrogen atom of the amide bond is substituted with a chlorine atom is set and a stable structure of the model compound is determined by an AM1 method which is a semiempirical molecular orbital method.
