PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing frozen dessert, having a sauce force feed unit for topping a frozen dessert with sauce, capable of topping the frozen dessert with a stable amount of sauce regardless of the variety of sauce. SOLUTION: The sauce feed unit 2 comprises an air compressor 51, an airtight container 53 in which a sauce container 54 is changeably accommodated, a pressure sensor for detecting air pressure in the airtight container, and a controller for controlling the air pressure. In the controller, the air compressor raises the air pressure in the airtight container, air pressure is applied to the sauce container so as to forcefully feed the sauce, and the air pressure in the airtight container is controlled based on an output data detected by the pressure sensor according to the change of the pressure in the airtight container when compressively feeding the sauce.
