PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed mechanism of an adhesive tape having a core and a taping device having the mechanism capable of performing taping work at a low cost by reducing tensile variation in feeding the adhesive tape. SOLUTION: In the feed mechanism of the adhesive tape having the core, the core of the adhesive tape is disposed between an upper surface side friction adjusting part of which lower surface can directly or indirectly contact with the upper surface of the tape core and upper surface has a brake plate connecting to an elastic body, and a lower surface side friction adjusting part of which upper surface directly or indirectly contacts with the lower surface of the tape core and lower surface has the brake plate connecting to the elastic body. Frictional resistance of the brake plate of the upper surface side friction adjusting part is larger than that of the brake plate of the lower surface side friction adjusting part.
