PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of image quality with lapse of time caused by paper dust inherent to a transfer paper in a cleaning device for an image forming device by preventing paper dust from adhering to a roller and maintaining the cleaning function of the roller in lapse of time. SOLUTION: In this cleaning device 1, a resin film 20 formed in a prescribed elliptical shape to abut on a roller 10 without any clearance is mounted on a mounting member 21 so that the center position in its longitudinal direction has a height h and an angleθagainst the central-axis 10a of the roller 10. To make abutting pressure of the resin film 20 uniform in the longitudinal direction, the resin film mounting member 21 is also formed in a prescribed elliptical shape, and the amount of protrusion of the resin film 20 is set constant.
