The invention relates to the electrode industry and concerns electrode-containing raw material for manufacturing self-caking electrodes. The carbon-containing bulk contains, % by weight: thermoanthracite 65-80, coal pitch 15-30 and graphite 1-7. Due to the availability of graphite in the bulk the electrical resistance power inputs in electrical melting are reduced.
