<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method 60 of reconstructing a three-dimensional radiographic image. <P>SOLUTION: The method 60 of reconstructing the three-dimensional radiographic image comprises using a medical imaging system 10 for collecting 62 the view of an object from at least two projection angles 18. The medical imaging system has at least one radiation source 14 and at least one detector array 16 for generating projection data for the object. The method comprises, in addition, back projecting 64 the projection data throughout a whole radiographic volume and using a nonlinear operator 68 for processing the back projected data to draw a plurality of medical images presenting the radiographic object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
