<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for deciding the amount of a NO<SB>x</SB>treating agent, by which the amount of NO can be calculated without using a NO<SB>x</SB>meter and the amount of ozone just enough to treat the calculated amount of NO can be calculated. <P>SOLUTION: This system 10 for deciding the amount of the treating agent for treating nitrogen oxides in a tunnel T is provided with a car specifying/ speed detecting means 2 for specifying a car entering the tunnel T and detecting the speed of the specified car, a discharged nitrogen oxide calculating means 3 for calculating the amount of the nitrogen oxides to be discharged while the specified car passes through the tunnel T on the basis of the speed of the specified car, a unit discharge amount of the nitrogen oxides to be discharged per unit of time when the specified car keeps the speed and the length of the tunnel T, and a treating agent amount calculating means 4 for calculating the amount of the treating agent just enough to treat the calculated amount of the nitrogen oxides to be discharged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
