PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable carrying container capable of visually checking whether or not an heat insulating cover is provided with a folded container body from the outside of the container body. SOLUTION: This foldable carrying container 10 has the foldable container body 11, and the heat insulating cover which is foldable and developable. The heat insulating cover comprises a cover body 22 and a pair of side covers 23. Each side cover 23 is joined with both short side walls 16 of the container body 11, the cover body 22 is taken out of the container body 11, and accommodated inside a mouth frame 17 in a folded condition. The cover body 22 is exposed on an upper surface of the container body 11 with the container body 11 in a folded condition so as to be visually recognized from the outside of the container body that the side covers 23 are provided on the container body 11.
