PURPOSE: A color cathode ray tube is provided to reduce a mislanding by minimizing the relative deviation between the mask-frame assembly and the panel. CONSTITUTION: A spring(9) has an end welded to a spring holder(10) and other end with a spring hole(9a) for insertion of a fixing pin arranged on the inner surface of a panel. An expression 5.0<(A/B)xW<=8.0 is satisfied, wherein A is the distance between the center of the spring hole and the center of the lamination point nearest to the spring hole, B is the distance between the center of the nearest lamination point and the center of the lamination point farthest from the spring hole, and W is the weight applied to each of the spring of the mask-frame assembly being supported by the spring.
