PURPOSE: A device for informing a brake pad replacing time of a car is provided to improve convenience and prevent cost waste and accidents by exactly informing a driver of a replacing time of a brake pad. CONSTITUTION: A device for informing a brake pad replacing time of a car includes an optical element(30), an optical sensor(40), a number of holes(11), a power source(50), and a signal part(60). The optical element is mounted at a mounting part(21) of a side of the brake pad. The optical sensor is mounted at the mounting part of the other side of the brake pad in an opposite direction to the optical element. The holes are formed along a circumference of a brake disc(10) where the optical element and the optical sensor are mounted. The power source operates the optical element and the optical sensor. The signal part is connected with the optical sensor.
