PURPOSE: An impact between a container and a crane spreader in a harbor is reduced to improve durability of the crane spreader. CONSTITUTION: An impact absorbing device for a crane spreader is composed of a twist lock module portion at an end of an extension beam. A twist lock is installed in the twist lock module portion. An impact absorbing device is installed in a cylinder(10) to protect the module portion. The impact absorbing device is composed of a first piston(12) in a rod shape. A disk(12b) having a first orifice(14) is formed integrally with the first piston. A second piston(18) is connected to the first piston moving up and down. Another disk(18b) having a second orifice is formed in one side of the second piston. A plurality of third orifice(22) is formed in a wall portion.
