HEAD DEVICE OF HARD DISK DRIVE

PURPOSE: A head device of a hard disk drive is provided to realize high capacity by improving the recording density. CONSTITUTION: An air bearing acting part of a head slider(10) is formed in quadrangular pyramid, and a circular protrusion part(11) is formed in the center of the head slider. The circular protrusion part is protruded from the head slider in a predetermined length. A gap(12) and a pole(13) are formed in the center of the circular protrusion part, wherein the gap and the pole have the least necessary area. An end of the circular protrusion part having the gap and the pole contacts with a disk for reading and writing data while the head slider flies over the disk.
