PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a thick film dielectric EL with a high electrostatic capacity and high performance. SOLUTION: This inorganic EL display device 10 is formed, when a back face electrode layer constructed of a plurality of back face electrodes 16 is arranged by a conductor paste film formation process 58, a baking process 60, and a fixing process 62a on one face side of a sheet member 54 manufactured by a release layer formation process 30 or a baking process 50 while a light emission layer constructed of a plurality of light emission parts 20 is arranged on the other face side. Therefore, no film is formed on the base board 12 for constructing the inorganic EL display device 10, but a second dielectric layer 18 is constructed of a sheet member 54 formed of the thick film dielectric body produced separately from another component such as the back face electrode layer and the light emission layer. Consequently, heat resistance matching the component material of the second conductor layer 18 is not demanded from the component material for the inorganic EL display device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
