PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image server capable of saving data memory capacity and exchanging image data between cellular phones regardless of their communication agents or models. SOLUTION: In this image server, an album every user is assigned to a database, and image data of a plurality of data formats started from one image are managemed in the same image ID. When a document shaping data transmission request is accepted from an accessed cellular phone, the document shaping data concerned is converted to a document shaping data matched to its communication agent recognized by a telephone specifying means followed by transmission. When a transmission request of image data is accepted from the cellular phone of a certain user who accessed, the image data concerned is transmitted as image data matched to the model recognized by the telephone specifying means. When a transfer request of certain data is accepted from the cellular phone of a certain user, the ID of the image data concerned is stored in the album of the user of the transmission designation.
