PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the change to a startable BIOS version without requiring a complicated operation by a user when the start of a computer system with a set BIOS version is impossible. SOLUTION: When the user operates a selection device 11 to select an alternate BIOS version, a selection signal according to it is supplied to a storage device 12 for storing two or more BIOS versions, whereby the storage device 12 can output the BIOS version corresponding to the selection signal.
