PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine capable of displaying a desired home page in one operation. SOLUTION: The facsimile machine includes: a button acquisition means 14 for acquiring a received button type in a standby state; a URL acquisition means 15 for acquiring a URL address corresponding to an acquired button type when the acquired button type is a preferred link button; an HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) generating means 17 for generating the HTTP on the basis of the acquired URL address; a transmission means 18 for transmitting the generated HTTP to a server; and an HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) acquisition means 19 for acquiring the HTML from the server, and a display means 20 for displaying the acquired HTML on a browser.
