PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exponential function generator capable of obtaining a suitable exponential function, even if the generator is manufactured using a CMOS process. SOLUTION: The generator is provided with first and second curve generating means 810, 820 for each sampling an inputted control voltage to generate a signal changing by a different inclination, and an adding means 830 for adding the output signals from the means 810, 820 to output a signal having an approximate exponential function value.
