PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively predict interacting sites by discovering local sites with frustration in the primary array information of protein.

SOLUTION: A user inputs target array data 10 being the primary array information of target protein to an interacting site predicting device. The segmental structure predicting simulation of the target array data 10 inputted to segmental structure predicting programs 20a-20d for predicting the segmental structures of protein from the primary array information of protein is executed. Then, segmental structure prediction results 30a-30d of those segmental structure predicting programs 20a-20d are compared (60). The frustration of the local part of the primary array information of the target protein is calculated based on the comparison result (70). Then, the interacting sited of the target protein are predicted from the calculated frustration of the local part (80).
