PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increases the number of choices of screen angels furthermore. SOLUTION: The method of constructing a halftone screen includes: a step of selecting a frequency and a screen angle of the halftone screen in response to a given request; a step of demarcating desirable subcells satisfying the requirement of the frequency and screen angle on the given request; and a step of forming a supercell including an array of the subcells.
