PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoke detector which can make voiced warning for a fire, inhibition of smoking or the like by using fire alarm equipment and whose stability and reliability are improved at a low cost. SOLUTION: This smoke detector is provided with a detector circuit part 15 connected to a signal line that is also used for a power supply from a fire receiver and for detecting smoke density by a fire to output a fire signal, a charge circuit 25 that is connected to the signal line 2 used also for the power supply through a high-resistance R1 and is charged with current limited so as not to affect fire monitoring, and a voiced warning circuit part 16 for being operated by power supply from the charge circuit 25 and outputting voiced warning from a built-in speaker 29.
