PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise whole system efficiency and also to operate a fuel cell with stability.
SOLUTION: To an output terminal of the fuel cell 40, to which the fuel gas that is constituted by reforming the city gas by a reform machine 30 and a CO selective oxidization part 34, is connected with an electric power line 12 from a commercial power supply 10 to a load 16 through a DC/DC converter 52 for loads, and an inverter 54, and the DC/DC converter 56 for auxiliary machines, which supplies direct-current power to the auxiliary machine used for operation of the system, is also connected. And while controlling the DC/DC converter 56 for auxiliary machines so that electric power required for the auxiliary machine may be supplied, the DC/DC converter 52 for the loads is controlled so that the output current of the fuel cell 40 may be held to the target current according to the operation mode. Consequently, while being able to raise the efficiency of the system as compared with the one which converts the direct-current power from the fuel cell 40 into alternate-current electric power to supply it to the auxiliary machine, the fuel cell 40 can be operated with stability.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
