<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet DC (PMDC) motor which has a speed sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The PMDC motor 10 provided with the speed sensor 20 has a rear housing 18 drawn deeply and an end cap 16. The speed sensor 20 has a coil, which is connected to the two terminals of a connector 23 arranged on the inner surface of the end cap 16 and attached to the brush plate 21 of the end cap 16.
