<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data reproducing apparatus effective for checking desired part of contents of image data. <P>SOLUTION: The image data reproducing apparatus divides image data into at least a plurality of moving picture data blocks 28-31, combines one frame belonging to each block with reduced image data and background data, displays resultant reduced images 32-35 on a menu screen 38, designates the reduced images 32-35 on the menu screen 38, searches the moving picture data blocks 28-31 to which the frames of the reduced images 32-35 belong, based on stored addresses linked with data corresponding to the designated reduced images, reduces the searched moving picture data blocks 32-35, combines the blocks and displays a resultant image on the screen 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
