<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substitution name server, a protocol converting device, and an interface device for preventing the number of name servers which can be set at an IPv6 network side from being limited, and preventing the number of simultaneously executable communication from an IPv4 terminal to an IPv6 terminal from being limited. <P>SOLUTION: A substitution name server 4 for relaying an address inquiry to be transmitted from an IPv4 network 1 side to an IPv6 network 2 side is provided with an address inquiry transfer chart where the domain name of the IPv6 network side is made correspond to the address of the name server, and a protocol converting device 3 for converting the protocol of a packet to be transmitted from IPv4 terminals 5-1-5-k to IPv6 terminals 9a-1 to 9a-m and 9b-1 to 9b-n is provided with an address conversion chart, where the combination of the transmission origin IPv4 address and transmission origin port number with the assigned IPv4 address and the destination IPv6 address is stored. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
