PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital picture recording device and a film camera loadable with this device, which have an imaging device part, a picture processing part, and a picture storage part separably, attachably, and detachably constituted and increase the photographic storage capacity of the picture storage part and protect the imaging device part from dust and dirt when being not used and has a battery easily replaced. SOLUTION: The digital picture recording device is provided with an imaging device protection member 16, an imaging device part 27, a picture processing part 33, and a picture storage part 37 and can be loaded to a silver salt film camera, and the imaging device part 27, the picture processing part 33, and the picture storage part 37 can be separated, attached, and detached, and the picture storage part can be separated from, attached to, and detached from a cartridge-shaped body 13 being an arrangement part for the picture storage part, and a protection cover 16 is provided which covers the imaging device part 27 and the electric coupling part between the imaging device part 27 and the picture processing part 33 as well as the picture storage part 37 with the imaging device protection member 16 between them.
