<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a processing speed in an IC card of a large current consumption type. <P>SOLUTION: This IC card is provided with a first oscillation circuit 17 outputting a low-frequency clock signal, a second oscillation circuit 18 outputting a high-frequency clock signal, a detecting circuit 16 detecting whether or not the current consumption of the IC card is large, and a clock changeover circuit 30 giving the low-frequency clock signal to a logic circuit part, when the current consumption is large, and giving the high-frequency clock signal to the logic circuit part except that.
