<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for generating a random pulse without losing a natural random number characteristic from an analog noise wave from a noise source. <P>SOLUTION: In this random pulse generating method and its device, when digitally converting the analog noise wave of the noise source, after rectifying the analog noise wave, an amplitude change in a time base of the analog noise wave is seized as a rising medium waveform, an unchanging waveform, and a trailing medium waveform, and the unchanging waveform is regarded as the same as the amplitude change just before a change, and a pulse of 1 and 0 is generated on the basis of this change, and output corresponding to a noise waveform every other one is reversed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
