SYSTEM FOR SHARING VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle sharing system that improves the convenience of a user.

SOLUTION: This vehicle sharing system comprises dwelling unit terminals 10 respectively installed in the dwelling unit 2 of each user and a vehicle managing center 30 comprising a vehicle managing server 31 for performing processing in relation to the rental of a shared vehicle and a database 32 for storing data about users and shared vehicles. A parking lot prepared for residents of multiple dwelling housing is used as a storage place for the shared vehicles. Data communications are performed between each dwelling unit terminal 10 and the vehicle managing server 31 by using a first communicating means that utilizes the existing interphone system of the multiple dwelling housing. If the user uses the dwelling unit terminal 10 to perform an operation about the use of a shared vehicle, communication data corresponding to the operation are transmitted to the vehicle managing server 31 from the dwelling unit terminal 10. The vehicle managing server 31 performs processing about rental of the shared vehicle by using the communication data transmitted from the dwelling unit terminal 10 and data stored in the database 32.
