PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that it is difficult for a user to operate a receiver having functions of not only digital broadcast reception, but also analog broadcast reception, since only data and time specification reservation is available for an analog broadcast and program table data on the analog broadcast can not be received except for special cases to require a procedure different from a reservation procedure for a digital broadcast and that it is difficult to design the receiver because of a complicated user interface. SOLUTION: Provided are a means of reserving and receiving a broadcast and a means of receiving program table information and constituting a program table, and program tables of broadcasts whose program table information is sent and programs whose program table information is not sent are displayed on the same screen to make reservation settings by the same method.
