PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose logic module and an ASIC using it by which the occurrence of off-leak current can be prevented in a general-purpose logic cell which is not used as a logic circuit. SOLUTION: A logic circuit of the general-purpose logic module is formed by forming an array-like base by arranging general-purpose logic cells which are formed by connecting part of a first wiring layer and forming a second wiring layer for connecting the general-purpose logic cells on the base. The general-purpose logic cell includes transistors (A, B, C, D and E) which are not connected to at least one of power supply potentials (VDD) and ground potentials (GND). COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
