PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent flux from flowing out of the end part of a fusible metal wire and facilitate the fitting of the fusible metal wire to the relay terminal of a cord in a relay terminal part for connecting the fusible metal wire to the cord of a cord-like thermal fuse device. SOLUTION: The area of the fusible metal wire 6 near the end part thereof formed by sealing (6a) incorporated flux 7 into the tubular part 8a of a relay terminal 8 by heating to melt the tip part thereof and the core 2a of the cord 2 are disposed by overlapping with each other, and the tubular part is fixedly crimped.
