PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably set equipment.

SOLUTION: An equipment setting method is for setting equipment based on equipment setting information which is obtained by reading setting contents entered in a setting sheet of paper for equipment setting. The method is provided with a step for obtaining the image of the paper (S20), a code judging step for judging a code for identifying the setting sheet of paper which is printed on the paper (S21), a setting paper data output step for outputting paper data concerning the setting sheet of paper from the identification code which is determined by the code judging step (S22), a setting information obtaining step for obtaining equipment setting information entered in the setting sheet of paper based on paper data which is outputted by the setting paper data output step (S23) and a setting change step for changing equipment setting based on setting information which is obtained by the setting information obtaining step (S24).
